Almighty father, who alone is all knowing and without whom we can do
nothing, mercifully look upon us your children and grant that we may
faithfully serve you in this life.
We beseech you to keep us in continual godliness that through your
protection we may be free from all obstacles and diligently serve you in
good works to the glory of your name through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble,
therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountain
fall into the heart of the sea(ps.46:1-2). The mighty one, God, the LORD
speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place
where it sets. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may
judge His people (psalm 50:1,4). Our God is faithful and dependable, we
extol His Holy name and will continually praise Him for His mercy
endures forever/ He has shown us His compassion and love throughout this
year. It is by His mercies that we are not consumed. He is our rock,
our fortress and defender, the horn of our salvation. To this great God
who lives forever be ascribed all dominion, power and majesty in Jesus
name, Amen
We are grateful to our father in heaven for granting us this rare
privilege to converge in His presence for this year’s Conference of
our beloved Diocese where Jesus reigns. We appreciate Him for seeing us
through especially this perilous time when unimaginable and horrible
things are happening. The Lord is with us, therefore we cannot be moved.
We give Him thanks and praise.
