DIOCESAN MEN'S CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP (DMCF)

This umbrella organization for adult men in Udi Diocese. They came on board immediately the Diocese was inaugurated in 2009. The Lord Bishop, Rt. Rev. C. A. Aneke the Bishop of Udi Diocese at the inauguration appointed Ven. William Ezechukwu (Rtd.) as the first Chaplain. At his, retirement, Ven. T. N. Chigbo was appointed second Chaplain till date.

ACTIVITIES:
The major activity of the group is evangelism (especially among the male folk). Their major strategy in this evangelism include fellowship at various levels (unit Churches, Archdeaconry, Diocese), witnessing, Bible Study among others.

DIOCESE OF UDI ANGLICAN COMMUNION BRIGADE

INTRODUCTION

Anglican Communion Brigade of Udi Diocese sprang from Oji Diocesan Brigade after the Creation of Anglican Diocese of Udi on 14th January, 2009. R'evd. Chidi Amaefula was appointed the 1st Chaplain of the organization by His Lordship Rt. Rev. C.A Aneke in 2009. This man of God led the group creditably from 2009 till 23rd of March, 2013 during the clergy/wives retreat at Emmanuel Anglican Amokwe when Revd. Prince-Charles Osita was re-appointed as Chaplain to Anglican comm;jnion Brigade (ACB), Udi Diocese The necessary handover was made on 14th April, 2013 The items include,

  4. 12 Nos. BB. Ties

In other to boost the secretariat, the following were procured by Rev. Prince Os'ta on 30th December 2013:

ACB Udi Diocese elected her Diocesan executive members on 12th May, 2013 at All Saint s Anglican Church, Amokwe Station.

    PROGRESS
    1. Established Brigade in All Saints Church Amokwe Station on 12in May, 2013 with Ifeanyi Eze as the interior leader.
    2. Effectively participated in the 1st Diocesan ordination service held I Cathedral Church of Emmanuel in July, 2013.
    3. Revived Brigade at St. Luke's Church Abia on 28th July 2013.
    4. Had Diocesan pre-training from August to whereby various session and officer were trained.
    5. Actively engaged in all Diocesan programmes.

    ACB Udi Diocese lost one of her officers Pst. Francis Ikeagwuonu of Achi in 2013

    OUR CHALLENGES:

    1. Lack of outing Bus
    2. Lack of Trumpeters
    3. Non - availability of Diocesan Band
    4. Lack of fund for the up-keep of the organization.
